People soft and let their actions do the talking all the time. Rubik did it the previous day, and it led to people wondering if he had certain reason to be tunneling Sun fan.

At this point he may as well have claimed because I'm pretty sure I know his role and targets
I can, for example, make a guess of his role and his actions and if he doesn't deny it it's still not using up the days role claim
So why have the role claim rule in place if we just walk past it

Rubik you should have claimed yesterday probably
not doing so isn't really as worth it as you think imo
If you have irrevocable evidence that sunfan is a wolf you should claim
If not, I still believe the roleblocker should claim their targets

I mean, roles get revealed in the death post.

I don't think it would have been that ambiguous what my N1 results implied had I died before claiming.

If you want, I can generate hypothetical results for a variety of mechanical roles based on the past 2 nights if you're worried about losing information should I die.

one time i tried to soft claim and someone else thought it was a softclaim so they claimed and then they got modkilled for it and i was sad

I agree with Minish’s plan, I don’t think we should waste our one role claim with where we’re at. We all know who the roleblocker is, having them claim for a possibility is a waste. Doing it to confirm a soft seems unnecessary.

There isn't much reason to publicly speculate on it unless you want scum to figure out my role, probably.

Or, if you think there's a reason, why it being known is worth the cost of scum knowing as well.

The only scum we have down is the Godfather so far, which is good, but we could still have a strongman and/or roleblocker to contend with.
