I would like to hear from Rubik if he does have his own reasons to be tunneling sunfan. Because this seems to hardcore focused on one player for Rubik that it makes me think he might.

There could be other things that stop the nk like doctor. Who, to answer a previous point about if doctors can target the same person twice in a row, I'm pretty certian they can. If roleblocker blocked LG last night it would be kinda useless for them to take the claim and tell us.

@Rubik I'm just gonna go ahead and ask, do you have information about The Sun Fan that you're withholding? This isn't just based on today, this is based on how hard you were tunnelling him yesterday. I'm just confused about how you can be this confident in your read of him because this goes beyond just suspicious behaviour. Not saying he's in the clear, but there was a lot of weirdness at EoD yesterday and there are people in this game who seem to know his scum meta really well.

Mechanically speaking, I'm confident he's scum.

I'd prefer not to have to claim because it's better for town if scum doesn't know what kind of role gave me that information, but I will if necessary.

Okay, been going back to re-read some stuff to try and put in more effort than I did the previous day.

Here's LG's read's list. Not sure how to read into it because I don't really know how she typically plays as scum, but figured I'd quote it here for reference. In case it's helpful.

rubik (more town than not). rubik has done nothing but talk about funnier since he subbed in. don't like the tunnel but it's not enough to scumread em. i thought mido was kinda towny so that also gives this slot some points.
zinn (more scum than not). zinn complained all through day 1 which i thought fit their meta well and good but their day 2 contributions are lacking and i am disappointed. i happen to agree with some of the things they've said but that doesn't necessarily point to their alignment lol.

Her day 1 vote ended up on link182, though she did try to vote Tristan instead but it was after deadline. Her day 2 vote ended up on Ryu, despite having this quote earlier in the day.

there's not much i can say about ryu that hasn't already been said. scummy, but not my current top priority. good summary of thoughts (it is also just the last thing i've read that concerns him) :

I noticed reading back through that she said the only reason she wasn't voting Tristan is because she didn't think people would join her. But that was posted after Zinn had been voting Tristan for a while (in which LG never joined in on that vote or any at the time). And also after Zinn unvoted Tristan. And LG was the (at the time) third vote on Ryu.

Kinda wondering if all of this suspicion without hard follow through on Tristan could have been trying to distance themselves as scumbuds.

there is, though. there is a lot of push back. maybe no one is outright defending him but look at all these other options we have right now. the votes could go any way at this point. clearly there are people who don't want to lynch Ryu.

Especially after this quote where LG said that the votes could go any way (after I said there didn't seem to be much pushback on Ryu), but yet she didn't think that was true when she didn't vote for her top scumread.


Now, Tristan is hard to get a read on. And I'll admit I haven't been paying too close attention to him this game. So I don't have a solid case on Tristan from what he's said (I'll try to get to that). But this is something I noticed reading through LG's stuff and thought it might have some weight to it.


Also wanted to look at the eod votes.

I won't make myself green on here, because I'm not confirmed yet but obviously I know I'm town so this analysis is going to go with that in mind.

I'll be honest, I still hadn't felt great about Doc in d2 either. But he's hard to read and I didn't really have a great case on him other than what he was saying in his posts felt off from his town game to me. However, he switched from Leetic to LG at eod. Now I do think that Doc is willing to bus, but not unless it really comes down to it. LG wasn't the obvious choice (which would make for easier bussing), so for him to switch to her looks pretty good. And to switch from someone who was a decent scumread in my mind (leetic) to LG is another point in his favor. I think I'm going to have to concede for now that Doc is town. There was also a post of LG's that said she was hard town reading Doc, which I don't know if scum would be so certain about a town read unless they actually are town, and not a scumbud.

Deku could be scum, but if he is I think we'll have to leave him for later. Because I think he's been more proactive this game than he typically is and seems to be really intent on helping town.

So if I assume that Doc and Deku are both town, it would seem like we might have two scum on the Ryu wagon (LG and someone else) and the other in the not voting. Because I don't think that all of scum would be on the Ryu wagon. Moe seems to look pretty good because he was voting Ryu and unvoted last minute, but didn't try to go elsewhere. Just don't think scum Moe would make it a tie if a townie could easily be lynched if he just kept his vote. That leaves me with Leetic, who I've already stated my suspicions on.

Dammit, if you're telling the truth then I feel like the connections I made with Tristan and LG were probably for nothing. I mean it could still be Tristan/Sunfan but I'm not so sure on that and haven't looked into that possibility yet. I'm willing to trust you but don't wanna vote right this moment because I don't want others to come and pile on and end discussion.

No need to claim, you answered my question nicely and I think I can pick up what you're putting down.

So with this new information, I think town is in a pretty good spot. It wouldn't benefit Rubik in the slightest to lie and this explains his behaviour through Day 2 and 3.

There are still explanations that could explain why Rubik has this conclusion even if The Sun Fan is town, and I still feel like he might be, but I'm willing to trust Rubik on this one.

I did reread Moe, but there was a lot there and I was having trouble analyzing his play. The only thing that caught my eye was his tying up of the votes yesterday, but that was chaotic and it would have been really easy to get mixed up. So while I dislike that one action, I'm not really feeling inclined to scum read him for it at this point.

Still want to hear more from leetic. I know he's probably asleep still, but the less we hear from him the more I want to stop town reading him.

Well if someone we suspect happens to be vig or something it'd be nice if they could claim if they were in danger of being lynched or something. I just don't like the idea of someone we all suspect of being roleblocker claiming for sure just so they can state a target. Who may or may not have stopped the nightkill. How about if Zinn is the roleblocker we just let their vote speak for them instead of having them claim so that we can still have the claim if we need it. Kinda don't like unnecessary claims because that can let the mafia off the hook some if it comes down to the wire and they can possibly get by on making a vague claim using the reason that the claim is already taken.
