if we use order of operation (and you always do!) you get 9! [7 +1 -2 +(1*4) -2 +5 -3] --> [7 +1 -2 +4 -2 +5 -3] --> [7 -2 -2 -3 +4 +5] --> [7 -7 + 9] = 9
