Skyward Sword's music is pretty amazing. I don't know if you can really call it #1 music-wise, however. The series has jaw-dropping music in general. As much as i want to say the music was good, i honestly hated it. Every single song might have been ok on its own, but it didn't suit the area it was used in (like Eldin Volcano Theme, Lanayru Desert Theme, etc.) Everything was completely forgettable. I like how it was orchestrated, but it should've been more atmospheric, or at least catchy. An atmospheric soundtrack couldve enhanced the experience and been more intuitive, or, like one of my friends said, the only reason the other music from the series was so good was because it was catchy.

I think OoT takes the cake in this one. A lot of simple music from it is still being used and specific area music is as epic as ever.
