Great Contest!!!
My top five are the following, and for the following reasoning.
5. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (N64,GC,Wii,3DS) - The game within it self is revolutionary, both for the Zelda series, and for videogames in general. All new concept put into gaming. I did not play the game when it first came out, however, when I got the chance to play it, I loved it!
4. MineCraft (PC) - In my Opinion, MineCraft is just as well a revolutionary game. No other game is as original as MineCraft. The power to build anything is in the data of your computer! I love to build, and MineCraft is the perfect game to do so.
3. Skyrim (PC,PS3,Xbox) - Skyrim is fantastic, I love the style of gameplay. You can do whatever you want in an entire Provence of an even larger land! I have not even done the main quest yet, there is so much to do in that game, it's insane! I'm on level 16 and counting!
2. The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword (Wii) - Just as Ocarina of Time, Skyward Sword was revolutionary, and amazing. A whole new way to play Zelda. How incredible. Not only that, the series broke the normal style of gameplay of modern Zelda games. I had so much fun playing it. I plan to do another playthrough thius Summer!
1. The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker(GC) - Without this game, I would not even know what the Zelda series is. This is the game that got me hooked in the series. Most people don't like the graphics, but believe me, I played this game when I was 7, and I loved the graphics. So much in fact, that I discovered that there were other games in the series, and I decided to give them A try. Even if the graphics are not the best, I'll bet anything that The wind Waker's graphics pulled in at least 25% of today's Zelda fans. I also love the games music. Wind Waker is my top favorite game of all time, and always will be.
