  • Yeah, STL seems like they would have some good quality plastics~ ^^

My weekend has been pretty good, thanks for asking! I went to a production of The Sound of Music that my friends were in yesterday night. But, it ran over until... eh... around 11:30 P.M. but, I didn't get home until around 1ish because we had ice cream after the show. So I'm a bit tired right now. Just a bit. Oh, and I was planning on going to a renaissance faire today, but sadly, due to unforeseen circumstances, I ended up not being able to go.

So, how is your weekend going? :zelda:
    Oh, you're welcome!

It doesn't? That's a bit odd. I wonder if all plastics do that...
This ruined my whole day I swear I was so mad. Anyways, I hate how so many people I know are so afraid to stand up for themselves and never take charge. It bugs me. My mom taught me don't let no one take control of you unless he's God himself! Anyways, I'm no rebel if that just made me sound that way, I do follow rules and I obey and respect those older than or "above" me, however I have a line. And this cop totally crossed it! I was at lunch and my friend had one of those packets you mix with water to make it flavored or something, so I shook it up for her cause she asked. Anyways, when I put it down, the cap flew off or something and the water spilled everywhere (all over my homework I might add). And you know how when something really crazy like that happens, you kinda just sit there for a second? Well that's what I do, I just kinda stared at it for a while, and then this cop grabs my shoulder and tells me "clean it up". And I was like, ok, I deserve that, so I got a rag from the janitor and started wiping. Now, I'm no stranger to hard work as I just told you, I KNOW HOW TO WIPE A TABLE. Anyways, the rag was really wet and I had to dry the table, and the cop tells me "go wring it out". So I said thank you sir but I know how to wipe a table. Then he has the nerve to tell me "no you don't" So I held up that rag at his face and said "oh, i;m sorry, you wanna show me?" and he starts on this rant about something I could care less about until I hear the word "lazy". I stopped right there, looked at the cop, and said "Sir, you wanna call me immature, maybe a little stupid, and rude, sure, go ahead, but we're gonna have a serious problem if you think you can look me in the eye and call me lazy. I know how to wipe a table! I do it everyday! I am a damn hard worker, and you'd probably be able to see it if you ever gave kids a chance instead of just intimidating them like you do everyday! Now if you'll excuse me, I gotta table to wipe, feel free to watch and see I'm not as lazy as you may think" AHH I remember that like yesterday :) The cafeteria clapped and I never saw the cop again . . . ^_^
I go ape **** when I hear all these grown ups talking about how lazy my generation is, I work hard! Not only school - I spend my saturdays scrubbing bathtubs mopping floors and washing dishes! I iron my mom's shirt for her every night, I wipe down the table and do the dinner dishes and the dishes from lunch everyday when i get home! I make the coffee for my mom everyday! I hate to say all my chores but when people start to generalize and all that I get so mad, OH MY GOSH that just reminded me of a funny story with a cop ^_^
Oh, yeah! I forgot that you could just put them in the dishwasher! That's pretty convenient...

You are exactly right: "Plastics aren't always bad, but they certainly aren't the best." But apparently, Songbird Ocarina sells some Focalink Ocarinas, and they sound more like a ceramic does! I've heard sound samples of the Focalinks, and the high notes don't sound too bad...

Oh, and I hope that you don't mind if I send you a Friend Request~ ^^
Yes, I near dropped dead when he tells me "Oh I'm 13" !! He writes like a man in college and he's barely in 8th grade !
Wow, that's a lot of ocarinas! I can't believe that you have a teacarina! I have had my eye on those for a while~ They look so fun.

And yes, plastic ocs don't sound all that good compared to, say, a genuine ceramic oc. When I first got my ocarina, I researched a TON about what ocarina would be the best for beginners (I research stuff a lot :P). Everywhere that I looked, it said that a plastic is the best for a beginning ocarinaist. But, I REALLY wanted a Zelda replica (obviously ;)), So I went ahead and got the Zelda Tenor, and I am pretty glad that I got my replica instead of a plastic...
My essay is almost done, I'm on the last paragraph
