I don't see it being a major issue of whether or not I'd play it in the slightest. Now, I have no problem with character being gay, but I feel like since the series revolves around Link saving a princess (even though the romantic aspect is minimal for the majority of the games) it wouldn't fit...
I loved sailing and collecting the Triforce pieces in Wind Waker. Ocarina of Time is not my favorite, hardly in the top 5. I actually really like Adventure of Link.
That's really all I can think of at the moment.
To follow up on your statement regarding Adventure Time, I am a fan of the show and the show takes place years after The Great Mushroom War (basically nuclear apocalypse) and the magic returns to the world and its inhabitants. Just in case anybody was wondering.
In the case of Zelda though, I...
I just consider them as that early Nintendo charm. But if it were to be canon, we can clearly see that TLOZ/AOL are at the end of the timeline, correct? Perhaps the Hylian religion evolved to include symbols such as the cross in them.
Just my 2 cents.
I don't quite see what you mean by that. Are you saying it would turn into a space opera, or it would be a shell of its former self?
More on topic, I think a gun in the loosest sense would work. Like others have mentioned, an early flintlock or matchlock weapon with that Zelda charm would...
The three timelines splitting are caused by the outcomes of Link's battle with Ganon at the end of Ocarina of Time. So, no, I am not wondering why the timeline splits into 3 because we have an official theory.
It's an interesting thought though, but I believe the Master Sword is "charged"...
From what I played, Dodongo's cavern served some sort of importance to the Gorons, right? Haven't played in a while, but I'm pretty sure most of the dungeons can serve a purpose to the races of the overworld.
Wouldn't it make more sense if the Ooccoo evolved from the Loft birds as opposed to the Skyloftians? Given intelligence by the gods to create the City in the Sky from what remains of Skyloft?
Spitballing here, but who knows?
That's an odd thing for Miyamoto to say. What exactly is the context for this interview? Because for something to just disappear like that sounds pretty un-Zelda like to me, unless I'm mistakenly reading this.
Then again, Miyamoto's word IS law, so he probably has a better idea than I do. :)
Fee fi fo fum! I smell the blood of a Hylian boy!
Sorry bout that, the poll made me think of that old tune. Anyways, always say Fee. Pronunciation is not my strong suit. OH-car-ina is how I say ocarina. :)
Lyrics are not good, IMO. At least in the traditional sense. Lyrics like the Ballad of the Goddess and the chants in the original Fire Temple theme (and to an extent Link's distorted creepy shouts in the Forest Temple) I think are alright. But not in background music generally. So if anything...
I too liked having Great Fairies around. It's like you could walk in, and they would do anything in their hearts to save you. Lots of fun finding them hiding all over the place.
Don't worry too much, I'm sure we'll see them come back in a later installment. :)
