Atticus, I make a point to come on here at least once every 24 hours, and I have time to run my game when that comes. Don't worry about whether I'll be active or not. And if we wanna talk about my experience in mafia(I know no one brought it up but inexperience was brought up) I actually have a lot of mafia experience, just not on here. I've been in, moded, and co moded several games on the Wizards of the Coast forums. I will be ready for this game. I do have a co mod as well, Xyphon, I just never got around to posting that.

Take a guess.
Heroine is notorious for being, at the very least, moderately inactive in most mafia games (not to sound rude, but it's usually because she's busy with other situations in life, and that's understandable), and I haven't seen Timeless active on here in forever. Just like Timeless, I hardly ever see Rachel on here either, which is a shame because I like her theme.
You know I come on pretty much every day, right? I can meet deadlines that I set for the most part. I understand your concerns, but you could at least give me a chance. Wasn't I sufficiently active when I helped you in MLP?

I'm also considering getting another co-mod; I still need to discuss that with Timeless, as I did ask him first. Unfortunately, I need someone who's both knowledgable in Mafia AND in Kid Icarus, so...

I wonder how many times this will happens until everybody figures out that I'm NOT Dracomajora.
And thanks also, this gave me a good chuckle after making a post in the MD :D
I think the point was that you've never played mafia and it doesn't seem fair at all that you can vote on an issue related to it. Especially when it's going to affect several actually experienced people in the forum, such as myself, by forcing them to wait longer.

You're still going to get Mods vs. Members regardless of whether you sign the petition or not.

I'm only messing ;p

I would only agree with this if everyone came to a mutual decision and actually wanted it to move forward in the queue. I completely get how it's unfair because it certainly is.

Not... sure why you decided to bring up an actual complaint after saying it was a joke, but if a mod is inactive and doesn't reply I'd assume they're going to get skipped over. I'd recommend to Viral to just put that in the rules, but whether he does or not that seems like the common-sense way to handle that situation to me.

The one positive aspect of this conversation.

The intrnt is srs bsns. 'Bout time you youngins learned.

The game is on!
Personally I think one voting stage only is the way to go. After all, that is the closest we will get to the real opinions of everyone. Forcing someone to choose between say Draco, Viral or JC when this person in truth wanted to choose ALIT does not make sense to me. I think that the only time when an additional voting stage is needed is in the case of a tie.

There is my opinion on the matter.

Well, while I kind of agree with Xyphon, Pendio's got a point. They can already vote for two people, meaning they're already going to choose their first and second choice. If they didn't already vote for one of the people moving on to the next stage, they probably didn't originally intend to or want to. Of course, they wouldn't have to vote if they didn't like any of the nominees in one category, but I'm not sure how fair that is...

While I do agree with all the above points, I think the voting stage that should be utilized next time should be adaptable to the number of voters. Since that number is not determined, an adaptable system to accommodate for number of voters would work best.

To be honest it doesn't really bother me how the votes are handled. As long as it's fair, which I'm sure it is, then it's fine by me.

Do you guys think a game where every player gets 1 vig shot for the game and every player is self aligned, and every player knows this, would be fun at all? Like, the way to win is be last one standing, or a draw between two players if they are last two standing and have both used their vig shots. Would you guys play that? I'd make it a really big game as well. Like, 25 spots.
