Considering this it would actually be pretty simple for mafia to fake claim since they have a very low to no chance of picking the same role as is actually in the game

That's how some scum play. confuse other players into slipping up and looking bad to divert the attention off of them. Or so I would guess from what I've read in older games.

The other 2 are plop and FFA, and in FFA's case I don't think he can get away with it again.
