Barsolas stands.
"What? Elvish? Why would..." He walks over to Nevermore and looks over her shoulder, not caring that his hands immediately went to her waist.
"Oh my..."

"The only issue is... why would there be elves out here, in the middle of a field and not in the forest... unless of course... but no, that could not be possible..."
He thinks for a moment.
"Aerdrie?" He says, awaiting her to read the paper.

Nevermore feels him touch her and out of surprise she wiggles out of his grasp. "Sol!" She scolds, "Stop that!" She tries to hide an embarrassed smile.

Khana kept herself at the back of the group. She had gathered up a few arrows but was reluctant to get too close to any of the bodies. She had heard Barsolas call but hadn't rushed straight in, she didn't quite know what to make of him and definitely didn't like the term blood mage she felt it made her sound.... evil. But eventually she wondered over to see what all the fuss was about and saw the treasure. Someone commented on splitting it amongst them but Khana couldn't think of anything she actually needed and would be happy to use her share (if it was split) to buy more weaponry or armour for the group.

Sol immediately withdrawls his arms and crosses them.
"Sorry..." He mumbles.

Aerdrie's eyes scanned the page and then she read it aloud verbatim to them.

(Domo, feel free to fill in what is says. I don't actually know. If you want, I can make it up.)

Aerdrie spoke clearly and slowly, clearly translating as she went, "The Zaldigias troops are most graciously welcomed into our army. As promised, once the citadel is our own we shall have a place to make war on the elven lands more easily from. We have agreed for all our forces to join in the Valley of Tears so that we might plan our siege. Archers are in short supply as the Orcs are too brutish for accuracy and the goblins too stupid for anything but attrition."

Aerdrie's face showed a mixture of surprise and shock, "The Zaldigias are a small clan, good archers, but not the best that the elves can produce. They've long held hostility for the sitting king and the other lords and ladies of the elven counsel due to their relatively unimportant and disrespected position on the counsel. I'm unsurprised they would seek to help make war on the citadel." She glanced about, "The valley of tears is not too terribly far, a week's walk and climb at most. It is an excellent place to build an army. The rivers run thick with fish, the birds nest frequently, and the trees bear lots of fruit."
