The Secret Room is a Side Quest in Tears of the Kingdom.
Overview
Oaki is building a "secret room" inside the mouth of the Great Deku Tree, and wants "more pretty things" to decorate it with - "four blue nightshades that glow gently at night" and "two really vivid brightbloom seeds. He then wants Link to stay with him until dark (if it isn't already night) to see the effect. After this, they give him the Korok Fabric as thanks.
Requirements
Free Korok Forest from gloom by defeating the Gloom Spawn and Phantom Ganon at the bottom of the Deku Tree Chasm. Technically, this is part of the Trail of the Master Sword Main Quest, but can be done long before triggering the quest itself.
Walkthrough
- Go into the Great Deku Tree's Navel and use Ascend from the Great Deku Tree's Navel Inn.
- Oaki will be surprised at Link's presence inside the Great Deku Tree's mouth, and tell him about the "SECRET room" he's building there. They just want four Blue Nightshades and two Giant Brightbloom Seeds to decorate with.
- Blue Nightshade can be found in the forest, and are used to mark the path for the None Shall Pass? Shrine Quest
- Giant Brightbloom Seeds can be found in most caves.
- As soon as Link has them - immediately, if he already does - he can speak to Oaki, who (if it isn't night) will want Link to wait until dark to see the full effect. If Link agrees, the time until night will be skipped over, akin to resting at a campfire.
- At night, Oaki will set up the bioluminescent plants, including Silent Princess, and after exclaiming "so pretty!" will give Link Korok Fabric as thanks.
