The Beast and the Princess is a Side Adventure in Tears of the Kingdom.
Overview
At New Serenne Stable, Penn is being given some leads by a group of small birds when Link shows up and scares them off. He tells Link that there were "chips and warbles" from them that Princess Zelda was seen riding and controlling "a mountain of a beast...one with huge, brutal tusks." He says that there had been a number of sightings in the subtropical region in the south.
At Lakeside Stable, Shay points Link across the Floria River towards Bronas Forest, where a new species of animal called "Dondons" were discovered. At the Dondon pen, Cima is looking after them, and tells Link that they're gentle animals discovered by Zelda, and only the five in the pen have ever been found. When Penn appears, Link sets him straight about the Dondons, and Penn pays him for the story as normal.

Penn has heard rumors that some have seen Princess Zelda riding a mountainous beast with brutal tusks. These sightings come from all over but seem to happen more in the subtropical region in the south. You may learn the truth behind these rumors at various stables from the travelers who gather there.
Penn has heard rumors that Princess Zelda has been seen riding a mountainous beast. But it turns out it wasn't a monster at all. Cima, the attendant at Lakeside Stable, told you about Dondons, and when you shared the news with Penn, he said he wanted to see one for himself. You should head back and talk with Cima.
It's now clear that the beast rumored to be under Princess Zelda's control was no monster at all, but in fact a new kind of animal that the princess had discovered. |
