An Excavator is a named schematic from Tears of the Kingdom.
Tears of the Kingdom
This Yiga Schematic can be located at a Yiga Clan base in the Depths south of the Muotue Lightroot next to a chest containing 20 Crystallized Charges. Link must defeat the marked Yiga Clan enemy, to unlock the door to the hut containing the schematic to Autobuild the Excavator.
There are 5 parts required for the Excavator - a Board, three Big Wheels, a Steering Stick, a Stabilizer and Spikes.
If any of the parts are unavailable, Link can still Autobuild the device once he has the schematic. To make it with no parts available requires 21 pieces of Zonaite.
