In the Slated for Upgrades sidequest, Link will need to acquire three Ancient Cores in order to upgrade his Stasis Rune. After bringing them to Purah, she will upgrade Link's Stasis Rune to Stasis+, which allows Link to use Stasis on enemies, freezing them momentarily.
