Guides

The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom is a main series The Legend of Zelda series title for the Nintendo Switch, and the first Nintendo-published game to star Princess Zelda as the main, playable character. It is a 2D, top-down adventure in the same style as the 2019 remake of Link's Awakening, developed by Grezzo.

Story

Link defeats Ganon, who has Princess Zelda trapped in a crystal. However, before Link can celebrate his victory, a strange rift opens in the room where Ganon's trident fell, and he barely cracks Zelda's crystal with an arrow before vanishing into it. Zelda escapes the broken crystal, but barely makes it out of Ganon's castle before the rift covers it. With similar rifts appearing all over Hyrule, she must team up with the "mysterious fairy" Tri, and use the Tri Rod the fairy gives her, with its power to create "echoes" of objects and monsters, to try and save her kingdom and Link.

Gameplay

For the first time in the main series, the Princess Zelda is the main character. By using the Tri Rod gifted by Tri, she can create Echoes of items or monsters to travel through Hyrule and fight enemies. Zelda can also Bind to move various elements or Reverse Bond by using the movement of elements that Zelda is binded.

After finding Link's sword, Zelda can turn into Swordfighter Form, which allows her to momentarily fight like Link by using sword, bow and bombs.
