Games

Start

Examine the Ikatak Shrine entrance

Objective

Bring the Rock over to the Shrine

Rewards

Access to Ikatak Shrine

Attributes

Type

The Gisa Crater Crystal is a Shrine Quest in Tears of the Kingdom.

Requirements

The quest is available as soon as Link arrives at the entrance to the Ikatak Shrine at the Gisa Crater. The shrine is located at the far western edge of Hyrule, a bit south of Rito Village.

Walkthrough

  • Once you activate the shrine, a green light will be pointing down, in the direction of the Gisa Crater Cave. Drop down into the cave itself.
  • There are some enemy Ice Like and Stalkoblins down here and it might be best to defeat them first.
  • There are a pair of Rockets in the cave as well. Grab the green block and attach two rocks, one on each side of the crystal. Then carry it to the center of the cave and set it up so that the rockets are pointing almost directly up. A little bit of an angle is okay, and actually slightly preferred.
  • Activate the rockets and the crystal will go shooting up into the area.
  • Use Ascend to get out of the cave and find the crystal.
  • Carry it over to the shrine to complete the shrine quest.

Ikatak Shrine

Main article: Ikatak Shrine

The Ikatak Shrine itself is one of Rauru's Blessings. Inside there is a single treasure chest that holds a Big Battery. Walk over to the altar to get a Light of Blessing.
