Prerequisite

Defeat Phantom Ganon at the bottom of the Deku Tree Chasm

Start

Talk to Maca

Objective

Arrive at Ninjis Shrine

Rewards

Attributes

Type

Maca's Special Place is a Shrine Quest in Tears of the Kingdom.

Overview

Maca tells Link about his "special place" that only Koroks can access due to the fog in the Lost Woods. Maca will show Link where the place is on his map, and describes the swirl of a Shrine of Light that might be visible over the treeline. Link can paraglide down to the shrine to unlock it.

Requirements

The quest is available after Link has defeated Phantom Ganon at the bottom of the Deku Tree Chasm and unlocked access to the Lost Woods.

Walkthrough

  • Talk to Maca in the south-western part of the central Korok village ( 0382, 2085, 0145 ) .
  • Paraglide down to the marked location on your map ( 0355, 1892, 0193). This can be done by launching from Thyphlo Ruins Skyview Tower or dropping from Simosiwak Shrine above. You will be able to see the shrine through the mist of the forest, but might lose visuals on it for a few seconds as you pass through the mist on the way down.
  • Activate Ninjis Shrine to clear the quest.
