Find Sasan in a cave at Tarm Point, just North of Wintre Island and a bit south of the 9th dragon tear, the coordinates are approximately 4472 -0805 0035. Make a raft with some zonai devices and the boat next to Sasan , and cross the water to reunite him with Finley who's waiting for him at the other side of the cave. Be careful though as the water level will fluctuate, making the cross a bit more difficult than normal. There is a shrine at the end of the cave. the reward of this quest is an opal from both Sasan and Finley.

Overview

Find Sasan in Tarm Point Cave ( 4473 , -0827 , 0032 ). He is trying to cross to Finley on the far side of the cave, but the water level is fluctuating too much to cross normally. After successfully delivering Sasan to the far side he and Finley will each reward you with an opal.

Yomizuk Shrine is at the far end of the cave with Finley.

Walkthrough

  • There is a boat next to Sasan. You can either attach Zonai devices such as a fan, rocket, and/or steering stick, or fuse a nearby Korok Frond with a weapon to create a Korok Frond Guster that you can use to propel the boat.
  • Place the boat in the water, then talk to Sasan to get him on board.
  • The water level will rise and fall as you drive the boat across the water. When the water is high, it will submerge the shorter rocks and you will be able to pass over them.
  • Once you reach the far side it will trigger a short cutscene with your reward.

Step Description
1 Kodah at the inn came across the following passage from an ancient text: "Long, long ago, at Tarm Point, a blessed stone was hidden away within a sacred shrine."

Kodah's daughter, Finley, believes there must be treasure there, and so she and Sasan set off for Tarm Point. Does treasure await them?
2 You found Sasan when you entered the cave at Tarm Point. It seems Finley ventured deeper into the cave without waiting for him.

Sasan needs to board a raft to catch up to her, but he can't make it far with the water level rising and falling. He's not sure what to do...
3 You let Sasan board the raft in the cave at Tarm Point and delivered him safely to Finley, who was waiting for him farther inside.

They want to give you a gift in thanks. Call on them again after you organize your belongings.
Complete You let Sasan board the raft in the cave at Tarm Point and delivered him safely to Finley, who was waiting for him farther inside.

They didn't find the treasure they expected at the Shrine deep within the cave, but in the end, the memories they made together are more precious a treasure than any.
