The Gaiters of the Depths are an armor piece found in Tears of the Kingdom.
Tears of the Kingdom
"Gaiters acquired by offering Poes to a strange statue found in the Depths. They offer some resistance to gloom."
The Gaiters of the Depths are put up for sale by Bargainer Statues after Link speaks to a fourth one. They cost 200 Poes.
They works by giving Link a "virtual" Heart Container, which is affected by gloom before Link's normal and temporary Heart Containers at the same rate. This virtual container refills even in the Depths in the same way normal Heart Containers do on the surface, but does not change how other gloom-disabled Heart Containers do or do not recharge. They are initially drained when the gaiters are donned, and must charge before they help to protect Link.
Enhance Path
Enhancing armor requires Link to have unlocked as many Great Fairy Fountains as the desired star-level.
