Breath of the Wild

Dillie - BotW.png

Dillie can be found whilst being attacked by Bokoblins in the West Barrens. He is heading to Gerudo Town with Jora "looking for ladies". Unfortunately, each thought the other knew where to go.

Tears of the Kingdom

Dillie can be found trapped in the Rebonae Bridge Well. When Link arrives, Dillie is thankful that somebody finally came to rescue him. He blames himself for getting trapped in the well, as he dropped something in the well and came down to get it.[1] Though there is a ladder in the well, when Dillie tried to leave, the ladder broke.[2]

Dillie is frustrated that his best buddy who he goes everywhere with, didn't even notice and kept right on going.[3]

Fell into a Well!

Main article: Fell into a Well!

Speaking with Dillie will begin the Fell into a Well! quest. Dillie comments that the broken piece of the ladder is still here.[4] Link can use Ultrahand to attach the broken piece of the ladder to the remainder of the ladder. After connecting the ladder, Link can speak with Dillie, who after initially feeling resigned to being stuck in the well, is delighted.[5] Link and Dillie will then climb out of the well.[6] After appearing outside the well, Dillie thanks Link and rewards him with a Purple Rupee.[7]

Dillie then mentions he's going to catch up with his buddy Jora at the Foothill Stable, so he can apply for the Zonai Survey Team.[8] If Link previously completed the For Our Princess! quest, Link explains to Dillie that he saw Jora sitting there in his underpants. Dillie will then head off, advising Link not to go falling into any wells.[9]
