EX Treasure: Merchant Hood is a Side Quest found in Breath of the Wild. It was made available as part of The Champions' Ballad downloadable content.
Guide
Link can stumble upon Misko's EX Journal 2, found in the Deya Village Ruins. The journal states that the merchant's hood is in the right hand of the dragon, located at the Spring of Courage, near Dracozu Lake.[1]
Link can warp over to the Shae Katha Shrine, found just behind the Spring of Courage. If the shrine is not unlocked yet, the easiest way to reach the Spring of Courage is by warping to the Dueling Peaks Tower and traveling south. Glancing at the map, Link will see the head of a dragon and a hand on each side. The treasure chest is in the dragon's right hand, which corresponds with the hand to the west. The treasure chest is in the hand's grasp, so Link will need to climb up underneath the hand. Link can use Magnesis to pull up the treasure to collect Ravio's Hood.
Ravio's Hood has a base defense of 2 and increases Link's sideways climbing speed, but cannot be enhanced.
