Zelda's Golden Horse is a Side Adventure in Tears of the Kingdom.
Overview
When Link arrives at the Snowfield Stable, he can speak with Harlow and Penn to begin the quest. Harlow tells them that a Golden Horse that Zelda left in the stable's care has run off. Link must go north from the Snowfield Stable, past the Frost Gleeok, to the North Tabantha Snowfield where the horse is located. Then, he must tame the horse, ride it back to the stable, and speak to Harlow to complete the quest.
Requirements
Activate the Potential Princess Sightings! Side Adventure at the Lucky Clover Gazette.
While not required, if Link has completed the Camera Work in the Depths quest, he can take a photograph of the Golden Horse, and register it in the Hyrule Compendium before visiting the Lucky Clover Gazette, while it is still stabled normally at Snowfield Stable. After having done this and subsequently completing Presenting: Sensor +!, Link can use Sensor + to help track the horse during the quest, as the Golden Horse has its own Compendium entry.
Walkthrough
- Head to Snowfield Stable and talk to Penn and Harlow to start the quest.
- Head up into North Tabantha Snowfield to find the horse, which is located at ( -1818, 3380, 0236) among some ruins. Keep an eye out for the nearby Frost Gleeok on the way.
- Sneak up on the horse and use A to mount it and L to soothe it like any other horse. Getting in control of the horse will take about a full wheel of stamina.
- Ride back to Snowfield Stable and talk to Harlow and Penn to finish the quest. Penn will reward you with Rupees based on how many Potential Princess Sightings! quests you have finished, and you'll unlock the Royal Bridle and Royal Saddle.
