A Picture for the Closed Stable I is a Side Quest in Tears of the Kingdom.
Overview
Piaffe wants to put up a painting of Spectacle Rock in Gerudo Canyon Stable. If Link can bring him a picture, taken from East Gerudo Sky Archipelago, Piaffe will paint a replica and reward him with a Pony Point and some Chilly Mushroom Risotto.
Requirements
The Purah Pad camera must have been unlocked by Robbie in the Camera Work in the Depths Main Quest; and the clutter in Gerudo Canyon Stable cleared away in the Piaffe, Packed Away side quest. A Picture for the Closed Stable II is also at this stable, and the two can be started and completed in either order.
Walkthrough
- Examine the right picture frame in Gerudo Canyon Stable to start the quest.
- Warp up to East Gerudo Sky Archipelago via Rakashog Shrine. Link can reach the archipelago by launching up from the Gerudo Canyon Skyview Tower and gliding east.
- Glide over to the large island at the higher elevation that has the Device Dispenser. From there walk to the southwestern edge, on the opposite side of the dispenser.
- Use the camera to take a photo of Breath of the Wild over the edge. The other floating rocks in the sky make it look like it's a smiling face. Snap a picture of the Smiling Spectacle Rock.
- It might not look like a smile to you, but as long as the red notification appears the photo will work.
- Talk to Piaffe back at the stable to get the reward of a Pony Point and some Chilly Mushroom Risotto.
