Zelda's Letter is a quest item that has appeared in both Ocarina of Time and Spirit Tracks. The Letter is given to Link by Princess Zelda herself.
Appearances
Ocarina of Time
After Link defeats Queen Gohma Inside the Deku Tree, the Great Deku Tree informs Link that Princess Zelda is found in the Hyrule Castle Courtyard waiting for him. When Link advances to Princess Zelda, she will in due course bestow her letter upon Link with her autograph signed on it to proof it is from her. Link can show it to the Keaton Mask Soldier in Kakariko Village and will be allowed to enter the Death Mountain Trail when he does so.
