A Hot-Air Balloon is a Zonai Vehicle from Tears of the Kingdom.
Tears of the Kingdom
As part of the A Mystery in the Depths quest, Link will receive a Schema Stone from Josha, which contains the Autobuild schematics for a Hot-Air Balloon. Link can then immediately use these schematics to rebuild Robbie's Hot-Air Balloon just outside, after which Josha rewards Link with a Large Zonaite. This will then complete the quest.
Impa also uses a Hot-Air Balloon to travel Hyrule, which she has Link repair during the Impa and the Geoglyphs main quest.
The Hot-Air Balloon Schema Stone does not include any means of heating air to make the balloon fly. Link must supply a source of flame, such as a lit bundle of wood or a Flame Emitter separately.
