Zelda's Letter is a quest item that has appeared in both Ocarina of Time and Spirit Tracks. This Letter is given to Link by Princess Zelda herself.
Appearances
Ocarina of Time
In Ocarina of Time, Zelda will give Link Zelda's Letter once he visits her in her courtyard. Link can go to this courtyard only once he has defeated Queen Gohma Inside the Deku Tree. This will cause the Great Deku Tree will give Link the Kokiri's Emerald and send Link to Hyrule Castle, telling him to find and listen to Zelda. This letter can be shown to the guard guarding the gate that leads to the Death Mountain Trail in Kakariko Village. After giving him the Letter, he will let Link pass through.
