Talk:Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U
I'm seeing some edits over Sheik changing it from she to he. Sheik is a girl, isn't she? After all, senior product manager Bill Trinen said a while back "The definitive answer is that Sheik is a woman — simply Zelda in a different outfit." He's also Shigeru Miyamoto's personal translator, so I would imagine this isn't just his opinion, but something he's probably heard the big man himself say in the past. I was the one who changed she to he for Sheik. Bill Trinen was speaking specifically about Ocarina of Time, where it's a known fact that Zelda disguised herself as a male Sheikah; Sheik was always female in Ocarina of Time, but this is the first time Sheik is his own separate character. Sheik is female in Ocarina of Time, but now that he is his own separate character, and Zelda is not behind the costume, he should be male. This is the first time they're separate characters, so he could either be female or male. Let's leave it as "he" for the moment until I, or somebody else, know which one is correct by official guides or other information. Update: Official information say that Sheik is a girl. My mistake.
