Impa is shown in the trailer for ''[[The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom|Echoes of Wisdom]]''. She is an old lady with a walking stick, and a cape that bears the eye of the Sheikah. When Zelda escapes her imprisonment, as ordered by a phony king, she sneaks past the guards and it met by Impa coming down the stairs. Impa checks her over to make sure she's not hurt, before suggesting Zelda puts on a cloak as a disguise. Three [[Hylian Soldier]]s then find that Zelda has escaped, and comes face to face with the duo. Impa stands Zelda down, before walking slowly towards the Hylian Soldiers. She then incapacitates them swiftly by darting around with supernatural speed and striking them with her cane. She stays behind, commanding Zelda to go on ahead.
