The Long Spear, or Moblin Spear, is an enemy weapon in The Wind Waker. The weapon is used by Moblins and serves as their primary form of attack. If Link knocks a Long Spear off of a Moblin, it will run on over and try and pick it up again. If Link gets there first, he can pick up the item and use it to attack nearby enemies. Link can also toss the Long Spear at enemies in the distance.
When a Moblin uses the spear, he performs a quick stab or a long swinging attack. However, when Link acquires the item, he can do additional attacks with it, including a Spin Attack.
Link is unable to carry the spear between rooms and will automatically drop it when leaving.
