Flagship
Flagship was an independent Japanese video game developer founded on April 24, 1997. The company was initially funded by Capcom, Nintendo, and Sega. Initially, they were used in support, creating scenarios for games developed by other studios, including material for games in the Resident Evil and Onimusha franchises.
Beginning in 2001, Nintendo and Capcom began a partnership, and the Flagship studio was put in charge of development for Oracle of Seasons and Oracle of Ages. They would later go on to work on the Game Boy Advance remake of A Link to the Past, which included Four Swords. A couple years later, Flagship also developed their final Zelda game, The Minish Cap.
As of June 2007, the company ceased to exist, with all of its employees having been moved over to Capcom's main studios.
