I grew up saying "OH carina" not "AW carina" for oot, but I've never met anyone outside my family who says it that way and I'm genuinely not sure which is the correct pronunciation now. Also I always assumed the King from WW's first name was "DAF-nez" but I recently heard someone say it "daf-NAY" and now I'm questioning everything.
I've always said "COO-coh" which is close enough to canon, I count it as right, but I noticed this the other day. Definitely gives the impression that whoever translated this pronounces it "COO-coo" or "CUH-coo". I now have a little more respect for people who pronounce it that way. Also, my daughter's name is Hylia which I pronounce "HAI-lee-uh" (the correct way) and it annoys my to no end that so many people call her "hai-LEE-uh".
I was watching a botw video recently and the youtuber pronounced the Gerudo Vai clothes like "Vay" (rhymes with hay) instead of "Vie" (rhymes with Lie) and now I'm questioning my entire existence
