Boy Wonder
No no. Voice acting already vastly diminished my enjoyment of another near-perfect series (Metroid Prime 3) by killing what made that series great, and I'm not about to let the same thing happen to Zelda. The minute characters open their mouths to say anything other than gibberish, the childlike fantasy aspect takes a huge blow and Zelda becomes far more commonplace fantasy than unique Zelda fantasy.
And why is it needed or wanted anyway? Whenever a game is voice acted I find myself skipping through as much of it as I can, preferring to stick to the written text and absorb my story at my own pace, not at the pace of the voice actors. This, to me, is a very clear example of "if it ain't broke don't fix it" - and fixing it would actually break it.
