Wind Waker Mail sorting mini game on Gamecube

I'm using a Carby HDMI adapter thingy that supposedly gives me 480p and also reduces input lag to levels it would be with a CRT I think, so I don't think that was ever the main issue, but it's good to note if people are having trouble since that hasn't been brought up before and could be an issue.

...Gosh Wind Waker... aside from the puzzles and collectibles in the main quest it's like literally impossible to die. I'm on the Earth Temple with 10 hearts and a Moblin does a quarter of a heart if it gets a hit in which is also a big if anyway.

I get what the first poster said, it's a real issue.. I was one of the many who wrote WW off when it came out because of it's art style only to see the internet strive so hard to make it good over 20 years later. Now 20 years later I play it and honestly even if you ignore the art style the main quest just presents virtually no challenge at all. I can even do pretty much all the puzzles without hints. That's definitely a far bigger problem with the game and keeps it in line with how I originally felt about it a long time ago.

I hate to say it but the pre-internet era fans and people I think got it right the first time. Just because it's an action game doesn't make it harder than RPGs or something, I've played tons of RPGs that are harder than your average action game.

I can't remember how hard TP was but I think it was more challenging, it feels like they righted the course somehow. *sigh* I went through all this trouble so I could 100% and now I don't even want to finish the game lol.

Oh man, I love and hate that mini game at the same time but after a loooong while I started to get the heck of it and played it all the damn time. This is usually the case with sime stupid quests or mini games. They're very addictive
