If they did that then it wouldn't be true to the Wind Waker formula and people would be ticked off! Even more than they are with the simple lighting of HD.

Yeah, I understand that Ooh, I didn't realise people were annoyed? I personally like the lighting effects, maybe the balance between High Definition while still keeping the Cell Shade is well done.

It is important to note that the original Wind Waker is running in Dolphin, not the native Nintendo GameCube.

I never really liked the originals graphics, but I just find the colours and the lighting and the smoothness of the remake are actually very enjoyable to look at, can't wait to see Gohdan's chamber in the new look as his was particularly colourful even before. Definatley will be picking this up when I can.
