Save for Ganon, why would The Gerudo even want to do this? In Botw they have paradiso in the desert.

Different iterations of Gerudo. Ganon is pretty clear in WW that the Gerudo were suffering a slow death in the desert and that Hyrule was his chance to save them.

Its bizarre how someone can justify causing great death by saying its to save people from death, kinda like “dude, did you try appealing to the Hylians and creating trade? Nah.. we just invade.”

I was under the impression that's what he was trying to do when you first seen him before the king in OoT, but it apparently fell through. Incompetenct monarchs and all that.

The only thing stopping the other pieces of the Triforce from being corrupted is Nintendo's own insistence on sticking with the same tropes and traits for their characters and plot macguffins.
