I thought the Kokokiri turn into Skull Kids when they leave, not Koroks. > ,>

The Kokiri never left Kokiri Forest. Forest Haven in WW is Kokiri Forest after the Great Flood. The reason that the Kokiri turned into Koroks was because it was necessary in order to adapt to the Great Sea (seeing how Koroks can fly).

Actualy, they turned into a Korok because (this is said in game) they gave up their humanoid forms for flight. That is canonical. This next part might not be. I think somewere they said that they left their forest for a new one. But if they did not, If Kokiri is to Skull Kid, then I wonder what Korok is to.
