Sick live rendition of Led Zeppelin's 1970 hit, Immigrant Song.
This song is notable for its ability to create an instantly memorable hook in form of Jimmy Page's simple, one-note, octave-skipping guitar riff which kicks off the song and goes on relentlessly like a freight train until the last second.
This live version, performed at a concert in California (concert footage from a show in Sydney) in 1971, also includes an uncharacteristic, improvised guitar solo, which only adds to the high-intensity energy of this piece.
That, my friends, is the magic of James Patrick Page.
There was never anybody like him before, and there never will be again.
