A Link Between Worlds Where Will A Link to the Past II Fit in the Timeline?

I hope it goes at the end of one of the timelines and i think it is really likely that is the case. With Hyrule Historia out i don't think that they will add a game in between that causes that timeline to be changed in any way.

Let's put it this way, the only placements that would make sense for ALBW is if it were to be placed either between OoT and ALttP or it will introduce a new timeline we don't know about and placed in that timeline. I'm sorry, I know that ALBW was supposed to be a sequel to ALttP, however, as of now, I just don't see that happening. Also, I most certainly don't think it will take place in the Adult or Young Timelines.

I think it would be awesome if it took place after Link's Awakening, and could start with Link returning home from his journey to find how things have changed in his homeland. Honestly, the mystery of Koholint Island has always intrigued me, and I wish they would bring it up again at some point, hopefully in this game.

In the heroes defeat timeline, Link fails and the sages seal Ganon into the Sacred Realm, which becomes the dark world. Then the sages seal the entrance to the sacred realm because of the war caused by the peoples greed. That leads into ALttP. I really don't see any need for something else to go in between Oot and ALttP.

I think that this game may be set in the beginning of the Golden era, before the dark world has fully disappeared.
HH says that after Link defeats Ganon the Dark World gradually fades away.
What if all the cracks between the worlds is caused by the fading of the dark world. It is slowly merging with Hyrule because the Sacred Realm wants to be with the triforce, which is held by the royal family. Now if a civilization was built up in the Dark World, they may discover that the world is fading because of the absence of the Triforce.
They might set up a plan to try to take the triforce back. They create bracelets to allow them to travel through the cracks into Hyrule. Link discovers the band after defeating a group that came through, and decides to head into the dark world to try and stop them.
