I must say, my region is Hoenn. I grew up playing the R/S games and they definitely stayed with me.

I'd have to say Kanto. I love the originals and would be content with living there. My second pick would be Johto.

I prefer Kanto and Unova. Because kanto was the first region to appear and unova is really interesting with all its places.

Orre and Johto. Hoen was okay, but Orre is definitely my favorite when it comes to doing stuff besides battling, but Johto's pokemon are my favorite.

2) Johto(Memorable characters, cool scenery)
3)Hoenn(Interesting geography)
4)Kanto(no nostalgia for it, it's really kind of bland)
5)Sinnoh(boring, unoriginal, and little variety)

Hoenn...I love 3rd gen i had the best memories with my little sapphire game all threw elementary school!
