The Hammer was one of the most useful items in the game because it was useful for **spoiler** dark link and it was one of the only items you cold kill him with! and it was also useful for the water temple boss. **spoiler**

Also it killed most of the enemy's with one hit

P.S. I hope I did the spoiler's right... if I didn't tell me how so i can change it!

I needed to vote Bow. I remember the time when I got the gold skulltula really high up in the Zora Fountain (past the invisible giant skulltula if you know what I'm talking about), then I saw a blue tektike, so of course I shot it with an ice arrow to freeze it, and then it died when it thawed out. Hehehe...... Epic.......

The bow is just my favorite weapon in the entire series hands down. I can even rate it in most games.
Loz: Weird, because you shoot rupees, but what the heck, it's a BOW!! 7/10
AoL: I don't believe it was even IN this game... But it's a bow, so........ 8/10 (I'm saying 8 because the game would probably have an awkward shooting fault.)
ALttP: The first amazing bow. With arrows and EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!! I still have good times shooting enemies from across gaps. 10/10
LA: Still a great item, and it's optional to get up until the final boss, or not at all if you get the boomerang. But still, 980 rupees? Even I think that's a bit much. 9/10
OoT: By far, the greatest revelation of bows in the series. Shooting Tektikes? Piece of cake. Desert women that look like they want to date you? Done. Giant pig beast? Epic. 10/10
MM: The same as the OoT Bow, which I have to admit was a relief to me. I wasn't looking forward to a new bow entirely. The Bow also played a HUGE part of the game, as each dungeon item was a new kind of arrow. Yeah, Gyorg didn't need the Ice Arrows, and Goht didn't really need the Fire Arrows during the battle, but.... I guess Twinmold didn't need the Light Arrows either..... But, all of THAT aside, it was great to hold that Bow again. 10/10
WW: Ah, WW....... What can I say about your bow that WAS disappointing? You were able to switch arrows at ANY TIME while shooting. You could go from Fire to Ice to Light in a FLASH! Literally! The downside is, however, that you get it around half way through the game. But to even up the score, WW WAS a short game. 10/10
TP: The same classic bow we all know and love. The only downside, of course, is that there aren't any magic arrows, and with so many games before it bearing magical ammo, it was sad to not have them there. HOWEVER!!!! Bomb arrows were now officially introduced, as opposed to being unofficial in LA. Great job, Nintendo. Way to make up the slack. Plus, so many arrows to hold, it's almost impossible to run out! I have to say, I'm shot-happy. 10/10
PH: It made it's appearance for sure. The new style of shooting along with the new style of gameplay, I think, brought out the quickness of the bow as well as the AMAZINGNESS. However, there weren't any bomb arrows or magic arrows. For that, I need to downgrade. 8/10
ST: The most recent appearance of the bow...... The Bow was the same as in PH, except that you got the LIGHT BOW!!!!!! But, you got it near the end of the game, so, it was pretty useless by that time. But still, it was fun shooting people straight through with light. 9/10

As you can see, I'm a fan of the bow.

Nintendo did a good ratio between liking and disliking on the items throughout this story. They did good, because even though they added some pretty useless item's, they did better on the items you alway's have to use.

My favourite item was Nayru's Love. It was very useful when you battled the Iron knuckle's in the Spirit Temple and in Ganon's Castle. I didn't like the fact that it required a lot of magic power.

I'd have to say the hammer because of all the hilarioulsy fun things you can do with the hammer. My favorite thing to do is squish the gossip stones with the hammer, then blow them up right as they pop back up. Then it's smash fest :)

I would have to say the hookshot. It's just a fun item to mess around with.

I voted fairy bow but who doesn't love the long shot XD Fairy bow is just so fun and it's almost like links signature weapon :) It's also fun to take out gerudo's and other various enemies from far away with the bow :D

My favorite is Farore's Wind. I just love how incredibly useless this item can be! I mean, seriously! You need the silver guantlets to get to the fairy fountain you recieve it at, and by that time, you're already too far in the game for it to really make that much of a difference(unless you're like me and never do anything in order, because then this negative characteristic of Farore's Wind doesn't really apply to you.). On top of that, I'm never really put in situations where I need to use it, so it's pretty much extra bagadge for me. And that's why I love it! I love it's epic uselessness!(<<< meant to be read in a loud and echo-y dramatic voice)

I had it before the water temple.....

You are wrong. TP didn't officially introduce bomb arrows at all. Link Awakening did.

The Light Arrows/Silver Arrows were always my favorite Zelda item, and this is no exception when talking about the items in Ocarina of Time. Sure, you get them late in every game they appear in, but I think it is worth it, due to the epicness of the item. And it is one of the few items that can attack Ganondorf. It also looks pretty cool to me when firing the arrow.
