I hear that there's a mysterious amulet that raises your abilities if you use it! Well, that's what I heard, anyway... But it's just a rumor...

first time out of many 100% beaten of this game that i have actually noticed this is there some secret amulet that i have missed alll these times or what is this refering to?

I personally believe it is talking about the charms (either a potion or picolyte). My best guess is that this is a mistranslation from the Japanese game. Hopefully I helped

Ya I thought it was just what you got from the girls who got houses. I never read those things even though I bought them.

It most likely applies to the charms, which are bottle items given to you by the Oracles after you find them their houses. They boost your stats for a limited time. There's really nothing else this could apply to, and if these "charms" are actually charms in the jewelry sense then the wording could make sense (I guess?)
