Rachel looks at her own katana. The thing is light in her hand, easy to use. But perhaps something else will be more suitable. Or perhaps not. Regardless, her partner should have a weapon of her own that didn't require ammo.

"Alright. Let's get going then."

"Yeah, well, I have a hunting knife.... not really good for fighting, more for, well, hunting.... I need something with distance, and also I need to find room on my person for all of this." She chuckles. "I could make a thigh sheath for my knife, my pistol and sword, probably, on my belt, machine gun on my back, and my Swiss Army knife next to my pistol.... maybe... I hope that works." She sighs. "Well, it's a long walk."

Rachel can't help but laugh. It was true, her partner was literally covered in weapons.
"If we're going to be a team, we should let me carry most of the supplies. I only have my bow and katana. I can easily carry more. Of course, you should have a least a few supplies on you, too, in case we get separated, or worse."

"You coulda.ways loot my corpse, cause I sure as hell ain't turning into one of them."

Rachel balked. "T-that's not what I mean at all! If either of us is going to make it through all this, it will be you! I-" She trails off, unable to think of the words to say.

"There's always a chance, so I'm making sure you know. And do you have a flashlight?"

 

[Moonstone]

Rachel reaches back to one of the side pockets of her pack and pulls out a tiny crank flashlight. "It's not big, but it doesn't need batteries. Turn the crank and the light comes on. Pretty handy."

"That's good. We might need it if the power's out... and hopefully none on the Infected are there, and it's not looted. If the doors are locked and in tact, thats a good sign." She smiles. "We make a good team, you and I. We don't need boys. They probably wouldn't let us fight, said we're too dainty."

"I'm not so sure. They would've run scared the moment they saw the infected. Probably used us as shield or something."

She laughs. "Yeah..." She smiles. "Fun stuff..."

She looks at the sky. "Three hours of daylight left."
