One element of Majora's Mask I'd like to resurface is the "fill in the blanks approach" to storytelling. Certain things in Majora's Mask are, perhaps intentionally, never explained. (e.g. the relationship to Hyrule, the Fierce Deity Mask, etc.). All they do is drop vague little hints suggesting that something is there. This kind of reminds me of Shakespeare's 3rd murderer; it's the sort of thing one could think about for days on end.
Also, I would be quite content if they simply put MM's style of sidequesting into a traditional Zelda game.
