Are there major differences between the SNES and GBA versions?

The snes has more buttons so the controls are more flexible, thats the main gameplay difference and a reason to stick to snes

Wow, I'm the only one who doesn't have NSO! But then, I've got the Anniversary edition on four separate DSes so I'll probably end up playing it some day. Glad Nintendo brought it to a new generation. Still wondering where FSA is, it's one of the only Zelda console games they've never re-released and by far the oldest of them.

I haven't played through this before so I'd really like to try it out but there are so many other games I am meaning to get around to playing so I'm not sure if it'll be anytime soon.

It's a definite yes for me! It's the only main Zelda-game (part of the timeline) that I've never played before, so I'll take this as an opportunity to finally experience that game!
