Oh I miss the days of Game Crazy (part of Hollywood Video Rentals). I knew all the staff and they had a battle of who could get the most pre-orders out of me haha. Good times.

Yeah just go on Google Maps, go to your area, give yourself some room and search "video game stores." You'll have to sort through assorted GameStops, tabletop/TCG stores, and other unrelated things but likely you can find a couple.Are they like Vinyl and local bookstores?
