I've been curious about the Murasama game for a while now =]

Muramasa is essentially a 2D sidescrolling hack and slash game. Most complaints are directed towards its swords adding little variety to the mix and hardly differing from each other. The art style, however, is unprecedented in its gorgeous display.

I'd argue that Okami is hardly under appreciated. Even if it was a sales flop on PS2, it was received so well that it warranted a port to Wii, a sequel on DS, and soon an HD remake on the Playstation 3.

Fragile Dreams; Farewell ruins of the moon - you won't play another game like this one, i don't think many people have played it but i really don't know why that is the case considering a lot of the Wii's audience is quite young and should be attracted to anime style games.. Fragile Dreams looks like nothing else and feels like nothing else, it has its flaws in gameplay but the game has so much emotional content to such an extent that it is almost suffocating. Even when you are just casually moving from one location to another the emotional value of the world around you and the character's state of mind still retain their symbiotic relationship with the player. The story is basic yet deep and poignant and for once, the voice acting is superb. It does suffer from some harsh slowdown and it doesn't have a lock on system for combat but if you're careful, the combat won't be too frustrating.

I LOVE Fragile Dreams!! My one and only blog (poorly written, as it was my first attempt) is about it. I think it really deserves more attention as Seto and Crow are probably the two game characters with the most depth out of any character I have ever come across - Their story gets me everytime Q_Q

Other games I feel are under-appreciated are:

Trauma Center: Second Opinion and its sequel Trauma Center: New Blood I love the sci-fi surgery this game has to offer with medical terrorism!

Where the Wild Things Are: I loved the movie and thought that the game was quite different to other games that I had played and I simply fell in love with it and the original "made for the game" story.

And the (almost) newly released (JP, EU, AU only) Pandora's Tower: This is my second fave RPG for the wii as the story is once again very different to anything I have ever come across and I tend to gravitate towards anything that is a bit strange or out of the ordinary :)

I would have to say:

*Muramasa: The Demon Blade-Gorgeous art style.
*Red Steel 2-A prototype for the motion plus support featured in Skyward Sword.
*Sin and Punishment: Star Successor-Best rail shooter of the generation.
*Madworld-Very unique in its monochrome art style.

I had no idea there was a Sin and Punishment game available for the Wii - The N64 game is one of my all time favorites!!! I will have to keep my eye out for that.

I would have to go with Muramasa: The Demon Blade, and Arc Rise Fantasia. They're both really good games from unknown publishers. They're surprisingly well-made and play a lot like older titles.
I've been meaning to try both of those titles. Muramasa: The Demon Blade looks absolutely beautiful. As for Arc Rise Fantasia, I've seen it a plenty of times at the Navy Exchange for cheap. I should really buy it and play it some day.

It's only like, $20 (USD) now at Gamestops. It's at the perfect price now. I would highly recommend picking it up.

I'm not sure if it's as underrated as these other games, but I think No More Heros is. I have never met another person who has played it!
