Ok you are going to hate me but, I was recently playing WW and I realized, "How is tingle here? Didn't Tingle live in termina? Then all of a sudden he is at the great sea after 1,000 years! (I think?). But the question is, How did tingle get from termina to Hyrule?

First off, Tingle is immortal as long as he has rupees, so he had plenty of time to find a way back to Hyrule in the 100 years after OoT that WW takes place. As for how he jumped the split, maybe he found another path back to Hyrule.

That's assuming the plot of the Tingle games is even canonical in the main series, which is very debatable. ;)

How is he imortal? Did he have the magic armor from TP? because that would make no sense, ya Rupees don't make you live forever.
PureLocke is talking about the story of the Tingle spin-off games. It's a weird plot that isn't necessarily canonical in which Tingle is a special being that gains life from rupees. Supposedly he can live forever with rupees.

Anyway, how I see it is like a lot of characters in the series, Tingle appears in many games when there's no possible explanation for him appearing both places. It's simply a re-use of the character, except it's technically a different person in a different time.

You could go with the Rosey Rupeeland storyline, but there's really not a lot to suggest that game is canonical. Maybe, but I'd say probably not. ;)

If it's even the same Tingle then it's not impossible for him to have gotten to Hyrule from Termina. The Happy Mask Salesman (HMS) is about as weird as Tingle and has the random strange powers, as does Tingle, and he was able to travel between the two worlds so who is to say that Tingle can't. The other, more likely theory is that it's not the same Tingle.

I don't want to say.
There are two ways that this could work:

We could go by the plots of the Tingle games and say that there are multiple Tingles that all have a love for rupees or currency as a whole in hopes of becoming a fairy who lives in a paradise.

The other one could be that there are multiple people who want to be Tingles over the years. If you look at what Happened to David Jr. you could say that the queerness (weirdness) just passed on to many different generations of people.

Vote for best answer! I agree. I also believe it's the re-use of the same character in the series.

Of course Tingle can be one and the same and considering the Ruppe Theory he would be able to live not only long but also travel to all places. But I believe it's different Tingle in every game he appears

He could live off rupees, which explains why he rips you off for maps and deciphering of sea charts. I swear I wanna kill that motherf@%$#r!

Well I think it's because he's always floating around on a balloon! But that's just my opinion.

one day it was a very windy day when tingle was up in his balloon, the wind blew him to Hyrule, and the ruppee theory lets him live forever

This is one of the reasons I think that WW follows the Child Storyline. He probably hitched a ride with Link on his way back to Hyrule.
