I guess I could add body horror to this.
Body horror in video games is usually grotesque and is usually found in enemies that need to be dispatched violently.
But I always feel a bit guilty about this because the games would have you believe that there's still someone and innocent beneath it all.
An example is the Captain of the Queen Zenobia in Resident Evil Revelations. He has been horribly mutated but still thinks he is human and I feel terribly uncomfortable taking him out every time I play that game.
