I for one noticed that almost every game going out is a sequel. There is never any truly original IP

That's a very good point. I do want to see some new IPs coming out, or individual games or SOMETHING that would allow for some more innovation other than sequels. Other games like Zelda and Metroid are fine because although gameplay is similar, it always finds a new want to innovate in terms of story and gameplay, in a sense.
