I like the books so far (only 100 pages away from end of book three) but I have not seen the movies, I hear from my dad that it's very bad because the hobbits weren't hobbity enough and Legolas was not Legolas. I don't think that The Hobbit movie will be any good personally.

I have the whole series in one book, the three books, that is, and some extra content. The movies were great, better than the books IMO. Yes, I can't wait to see the Hobbit, I wanna see what they come up with movie-wise.
